Internships in translation

ICVolunteers is an international non-governmental organization that recruits, trains and coordinates volunteers for non-profit projects, events and conferences. One of its main domains of activity is translation and interpretation.

In this context, ICVolunteers offers internships (non-paid) for translators with the following language combinations:

• French <-> English
• English <-> Spanish
• French <-> Spanish

Interns get an opportunity to work with a range of different texts, ranging from texts linked to development to human rights, from science and the information society to education and literacy.

During their internship, translators get the opportunity to work on publications, as well as the proofreading of documents.

The place of the internship is Geneva (Switzerland). While ICVolunteers is not able to offer costs for accommodation and travel, it may, in certain cases, cover the cost for public transportation in Geneva.
