The first edition of the Social Innovation and Global Ethics Forum (SIGEF 2014) will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from 22 to 24 October 2014 at the International Conference Center (CICG) in Geneva. 

This inaugural event combines a number of interactive sessions that will showcase the global cultural diversity of the participants. NGOs active in diverse domains, students, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) representative, promoters of socially innovative projects, and artists from various backgrounds and disciplines will gather in an effort to propose concretes solutions to humanity's greatest challenges.

Some of the plenary sessions will address topics such as: Cities of the Future, Socially Oriented Communication Technologies for Global Interaction and Innovative Business Models for New Global Ethics. In addition, interactive conversational sessions and workshops will complement the plenaries. The two most voted socially innovative projects will receive recognition through the SIGEF Award, which will provide visibility and a monetary reward.

SIGEF 2014 is organized by Horyou, the action-oriented social network for social good, where Organizations (NGOs, Foundations, and Associations), Personalities, and Members support and promote solidarity through actions while advocating a humanistic approach to technology at all levels: local, national, and global.
